  • Vemzo: Used by customers for shopping and ordering deliveries.
  • Vemzo Merchant: Used by store owners to manage orders and store operations.
  • Vemzo Drivers: Used by delivery drivers to manage and fulfill deliveries.

2. Information I Collect

I may collect the following types of information when you use the Apps:

a) Personal Information

  • Name, email address, phone number, and address.

b) Usage Data

  • Features accessed, time spent in the Apps, and interaction data.

c) Device Information

  • Device type, operating system, and app performance metrics.

d) Location Data

  • Vemzo Drivers:
    • The app collects real-time GPS location data in the background when the driver is online and available for deliveries to ensure efficient delivery tracking and route optimization.
    • If a driver switches their availability to "Offline," location tracking stops, and they will no longer receive delivery orders until they go back online.
  • Vemzo and Vemzo Merchant: These apps do not collect location data in the background but may request it when needed (e.g., delivery address input).

e) Transaction Data

  • Order details, purchase history, and payment information (for Vemzo and Vemzo Merchant).

f) Business Information

  • Store details, business registration, and inventory data (for Vemzo Merchant).

g) Delivery Information

  • Delivery status, assigned orders, and route information (for Vemzo Drivers).

3. How I Use Your Information

I use the collected information for the following purposes:

  • To provide and maintain the Apps.
  • To process orders, manage deliveries, and support business operations.
  • To notify users about important updates or service changes.
  • To provide customer support and resolve technical issues.
  • To monitor app usage and improve features.

Background Location Usage in Vemzo Drivers

Why is background location required?

  • To enable real-time tracking of deliveries and optimize driver routes.
  • To provide accurate delivery status updates to merchants and customers.
  • To improve operational efficiency and prevent fraudulent activity.

When is location tracking active?

  • Only when the driver is online and available for deliveries.
  • If a driver switches to “Offline” mode, location tracking stops, and they will not receive delivery requests.

How is this data used?

  • Location data is strictly used for delivery tracking and optimization and is not shared with third parties except as necessary for core functionality (e.g., navigation services).

Can drivers control location access?

  • Drivers can manage location permissions in their device settings. However, disabling background location tracking may prevent them from receiving and completing deliveries.

4. Disclosure of Your Information

I do not sell or share your personal data with third parties, except:

  • When necessary to provide core services (e.g., location data for order tracking between merchants, drivers, and customers).
  • When required by law or regulatory authorities.

The Apps are not intended for individuals under the age of 13, and I do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
